Sunrise at Lanikai Beach:
Lanikai Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on Oahu, if not the most beautiful. An early morning visit to this amazing beach will reward you with a spectacular sunrise over the east side of Oahu. The Mokulua Islands are the two small islands off Lanikai Beach, and they can add to the beauty of the sunrise.  If you are feeling a bit energetic, you can take on the Lanikai Pillbox Hike which ends on the old military ‘Pillboxes’ that face out towards the sunrise off Lanikai Beach.

Walk on the Waikiki Beach at night:
If you are staying at Ambassador Hotel Waikiki, you will be in the heart of Waikiki and just blocks from Waikiki Beach, so you will likely spend a good deal of time on the world-famous Waikiki Beach. It is particularly romantic to walk down Waikiki Beach as the sun is setting over the Pacific Ocean. As the sun sets and darkness falls on the beach, portions of the beach is lined with torches that light the pathway. You will enjoy wonderful music from the bars along the beach which add to the atmosphere.

Friday night Fireworks: 
If you are visiting Oahu on a Friday, you can take a seat on the beach as darkness falls and enjoy a free firework show at the northern end of Waikiki Beach. It is a particularly beautiful display seeing the colorful fireworks burst above the ocean creating reflections on the water’s surface.
