Since 1946 Helena’s has been serving and satisfying is customers, locals and tourists alike.  Helena's Hawaiian Food is a local favorite family-owned restaurant serving tasty Hawaiian food, like their Tripe Stew, Squid Luau, Fried Butterfish Collar, Short Ribs Pipikaula Style to name a few.  Helena’s was awarded a Regional Classics award by James Beard in 2000.  No matter how long you will be visiting Oahu, you owe it to yourself to stop by Helena’s for a lunch or dinner.

3.    Boots & Kimo’s Homestyle Kitchen

Boots & Kimo’s is located in Kailua and definitely worth the drive.  Famous for several dishes, but at the top of the list is their Macadamia Nut Sauce.  Some of the other homemade favorite selections include; From the Sea Boots Mahi, Hawaiian Style Pulehu Ribs, Chicken Katsu, Mochiko Chicken to name a few. Boots & Kimo’s is open for Breakfast and Lunch, Tuesday to Sunday.
